Tasbeeh prayer, also known as Salatul Tasbeeh, is a voluntary prayer that can be performed at any time except for the prohibited times for prayers (i.e., sunrise, sunset, and when the sun is at its zenith). However, it is recommended to perform Tasbeeh prayer after the obligatory prayers.
Tasbeeh prayer can be performed during Ramadan as well. Ramadan is a month of increased spiritual devotion and worship, and Muslims strive to perform extra voluntary prayers in addition to the obligatory ones.
Performing Tasbeeh prayer during Ramadan can be especially rewarding, as it is a time of increased blessings and forgiveness.
According to some scholars, the best time to perform Tasbeeh prayer is during the night after Isha prayer or in the early hours of the morning before Fajr prayer. However, it can be performed at any time of the day or night as a voluntary prayer.
Rasulullah ﷺ is narrated to have said to his uncle Hazrat ‘Abbas (R.A):
O Abbas! O my uncle! Shall I not give you a gift? Shall I not show you something by means of which Allah will forgive your sins, the first and the last of them, the past and recent, the unintentional and the intentional, the small and huge, the secret and open? The Holy Prophet ﷺ then taught him the Salah al-Tasbih. Furthermore he advised him that it be offered daily, if possible. If not, then every Friday or once a month or once a year or at least once in one’s life time. (Abu Dawood) Source: qurantutor.com
