AN ORIGINAL STEP BY STEP SALAH CURRICULUM

Your learning journey starts here.

Not everyone learns by speaking or remembering at the same pace. Choose a comfortable starting point. Look together, listen carefully, practise in real life, and return when you are ready.

THE EXPERIENCEA journey, not a test

Choose one little step. Return to it when you are ready. Every learner belongs here.

Choose how you want to learn

These are flexible stages, not labels or school grades. A child can use any stage on any day.

Look & notice

First discoveries

For learners who prefer to watch, point or choose. Explore one everyday word, notice something in nature, then celebrate a small act of kindness.

Begin with first Muslim words →

Try & respond

Little explorers

For learners ready to participate: practise a gentle Wudhu sequence, try a picture-based matching activity, and follow a short family story.

Explore Wudhu steps →

Think & connect

Curious thinkers

For learners ready for longer explanations and thoughtful questions. Reflect on a Surah, explain why an act matters, and revisit it later.

Explore Qur’an reflection →

Pick a little learning journey

Each journey combines something to notice, something to practise, and a conversation to share.

Words we use

Bismillah, salām and Alhamdulillāh in genuine daily situations, not just on a flashcard.

Use everyday words →

Wonderful creation

Follow an original nature-and-gratitude exploration: look, listen, carefully touch and describe.

Take a wonder walk →

Beautiful manners

Six gentle missions: greeting, kindness, helping, honesty, caring and saying thank you.

Explore kindness →

Stories worth remembering

Discover themes from the Qur’an and authentic Islamic history, with grown-up discussion and links to original verses.

Open story paths →

Prayer at my pace

Learn the purpose of the prayer mat and the stages of preparing to pray. Formal Wudhu and Salah details stay with the reviewed guides.

Explore little Salah steps →

Listen and reflect

Play short Surahs, repeat when comfortable, and use gentle questions to connect the meaning to life.

Listen together →

For grown-ups: One short activity repeated naturally is often more useful than completing lots of screens. Never force a child to speak or perform. Audio, Qur’anic recitation and ritual demonstrations should be learned from a suitably qualified teacher.

Find your next little step

Choose a route that feels comfortable. You may practise a lesson, mark something you already know, or leave it for another day. These are learning notes, not an assessment of worship.
