THE WONDER WORKSHOP · LOOK / CHOOSE / PRACTISE
Look. Discover. Practise together.
Three gentle learning activities with real choices, beautiful visuals and space to practise away from the screen. No synthetic voices or videos.

TODAY’S LITTLE ADVENTURES
Choose one small thing.
You can do just one, or explore them all. These are interactive recognition games and grown-up activities—not replacements for qualified Arabic teaching or complete Salah instruction.

Where is the prayer mat?
A prayer mat is something we may use while praying Salah. Look at both pictures. Which is the prayer mat?
Tap or point to one of the pictures.
Try it together away from the screen
If you have a clean prayer mat, invite the child to find it, unroll it carefully, and show where they would stand. If not, look at the image and talk about what it is. A prayer mat isn't a requirement for valid Salah; a clean place is what matters.
Open the grown-up activity guide →Can you find Bāʾ?
Find Bāʾ. It has one dot below its shape.
Look for the dot below.
Help me notice the shape
With a grown-up, draw a tall Alif and a Bāʾ with its dot below. Ask the child to point, trace in the air, or choose the card. Letter recognition is different from learning sounds; use a qualified Arabic speaker for accurate pronunciation.
Explore all 28 Arabic letters →A little moment before eating.
When we begin eating, we remember Allah. Take a look at the meal, then practise with a grown-up.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismillāh
In the name of Allah.
A grown-up can model the pronunciation. There is no computer-generated Arabic audio here.
Look at your food.
2Say or listen to Bismillāh before eating.
3Try again at the next meal.
You can also listen, point or gesture—speaking isn't required to take part.
Grown-up tip: make it a gentle habit
Model the phrase naturally, pause and allow your child to join in however they can. Acknowledge participation without testing them. Refer to a fluent teacher for accurate pronunciation and detailed etiquette.

What shall we discover next?
All learning here stays free to explore. Go at a pace that works for your family.
These are original, optional, introductory activities. They do not provide a complete ruling on Salah or an independently reviewed Arabic pronunciation lesson. For detailed guidance, see the full site and consult a qualified teacher where needed.
